چکیده

The paper is devoted to deriving necessary optimality conditions in a general optimal control problem for dynamical systems governed by controlled sweeping processes with hard-constrained actions entering both polyhedral moving sets and additive perturbations. By using the first-order mainly second-order tools of variational analysis generalized differentiation, we develop well-posed method discrete approximations, obtain solutions discrete-time systems, then establish passing limit verifiable local minimizers original process that are expressed entirely terms its given data. efficiency obtained dynamics illustrated solving three nontrivial examples their own interest.

Existence of Solutions for Degenerate Sweeping Processes

In this paper, the existence of solutions to a class of non-standard sweeping processes of the form ?u 0 (t) 2 @ C(t) (Au(t)) is established. In contrast to the \classical" sweeping process with A = id, these problems may be degenerated, since there might be no solutions at all.

Discrete Approximations of a Controlled Sweeping Process

The paper is devoted to the study of a new class of optimal control problems governed by the classical Moreau sweeping process with the new feature that the polyhedral moving set is not fixed while controlled by time-dependent functions. The dynamics of such problems is described by dissipative non-Lipschitzian differential inclusions with state constraints of equality and inequality types. It ...

Simulation-Based Optimization Of Markov Controlled Processes With Unknown Parameters

We consider simulation-based gradient-estimation and its use in Markov controlled processes with unknown parameters. We consider a Markov reward process controlled by both a set of tunable parameters, and a set of fixed but unknown. We analyze the use a recursive identification procedure, and their application to existing gradient-based algorithms based on simulation. We show that simple modifi...

On Parabolic Quasi-variational Inequalities and State-dependent Sweeping Processes

(1.2) C(t, u) ⊂ H is nonempty, closed, and convex for t ∈ [0, T ], u ∈ H. In (1.1), NC(t,u)(x) denotes the normal cone to C(t, u) at x ∈ C(t, u), cf. Section 2 below. We will treat the case of (t, u) 7→ C(t, u) being Lipschitz continuous w.r. to the Hausdorff distance dH with constants L1, L2 ≥ 0, i.e., we require (1.3) dH(C(t, u), C(s, v)) ≤ L1|t− s|+ L2|u− v|, t, s ∈ [0, T ], u, v ∈ H. Note t...

A Fully Parallel Calculus of Synchronizing Processes

We propose a fully parallel calculus of synchronizing processes. The calculus was deeply inspired by LOTOS, of which it inherits multi-party synchronization in process parallel composition. On the other hand, its semantics is not interleaving whereas LOTOS one is. The model we propose is somehow in between Milner's SCCS and ASCCS in that independent actions are performed simultaneously, whereas...
